Selection Policy
Faculty, as well as students, are involved in the selection of materials. Requests from faculty members are solicited, and requests from students are recorded for possible purchase.
Final authority in selection of materials rests with the director, in consultation with TMC faculty advisors.
Every effort is made to avoid duplication of the Ingram Library collection.
Basic factors in selection are: current curriculum needs and anticipated use.
Donations will be accepted by the TMC, but the Center reserves the right to examine and evaluate the materials and include or dispose of them as dictated by the selection policy.
You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives. -Clay P. Bedford
